Each pelt comes with a denser undercoat around the flanks, and lighter fur around the neck and back. It is therefor not possible to make standardized collars. Some are plush, and others light and fluffy. In terms of quality, there is no difference between the various (usable) parts of a pelt.

ReplyDeleteThis is my 3rd fur collar.I really treasure them as they allow me to use my bigger scarves(70cm+90cm carres) during the cold season.
The fur is so soft and divine!It makes every jacket/coat look much more elegant.
