The scarf fur collars and bands are one of my favorite winter accessories, there couldn't be an easier way to add instant chic to any winter outfit, while keeping cosy and warm in a wonderfully luxurious way.

The collars have a sumptuous silk lining, which allows the scarf to slide smoothly through the five gros-grain ribbon loops.

The new scarf fur bands are petite, chic and fun. Slide any scarf from a Twilly to a 90 Carré through the ribboned loops and then secure with a pretty knot, or wear the collar solo by closing it with the attached fur hooks.

The scarf fur collars are wonderfully luxurious, stylish and plush. They can be teamed up with any scarf from a Twilly to a 90 Carré, but also be worn with necklaces, bands or ribbons, as their curved shape holds them well in place. The attached fur hooks can be used to wear the collar solo.

Secured with a necklace. The necklace needs to have an opening, you can then thread it through the loops in the same way as a scarf (before closing it).

It is almost impossible to capture the color Bourgogne accurately in a photo, as it changes so much it's appearance in different lights. Essentially, it is a rich, deep and warm color, with more red than brown.

Start by folding your Vintage Carré in the basic bias fold and pull it through all five loops (five loop method) of your fur collar. Place the collar around your neck.

It has added a glam factor to several plain cashmere business coats. It is comfortable to wear and apart from any fashion reason, it is so cosy around the neck particularly in this winter season. In Maryland, USA sometimes we have very cold and also unseasonably warm weather; the chic dark brown fur collar has been the perfect accessory this cold, snowy winter, but it will also provide "just a touch" of fur on the warmer but still wintry days. I appreciated the swift delivery, even more impressive as it was ordered during the holiday rush. Also the fact that the ribbons are smooth and do not scratch my scarves, and that the sheen and quality of the actual fur are top notch. The collar gives my Hermes scarves, pointus and twillys so much more use and my favourite look is wearing it with a plisse in a flower knot. That said it looks equally good with a humble wool or cashmere scarf when you really need warmth so it is both practical and glamourous all in one. My collar was carefully packaged in acid free tissue paper tied with ribbon just like the photos and it was delivered very quickly and I found it very good value for money. Basic Bias Fold

The basic bias fold is the starting point for wearing any square scarf (up to 90x90cm) with the fur collar. Fold your scarf as shown below into a narrow strip and then slide it through the loops of your fur collar.

Place your scarf on a flat surface, face down.

Fold one end over..

and then the other.

fold one side over to exactly the middle

repeat the same with the other side.

Do the same thing again, fold one side to the middle

and repeat with the other side.

now fold one side on to the other. It leaves you with a narrow strip..

Then simply slide your scarf through the loops of your fur collar, using the two loop or five loop method.

Thread any kind of ribbon through the first two loops of your collar, and secure with a double knot or a bow tie.

For this look you'll need an extra long necklace or strand of pearls. Fold your necklace in double and thread through all five loops of the collar. Tie the ends of the necklaces together.

Gavroche basic bias fold

The two loop method is simply ideal for small scarves (here a 45cmx45cm Gavroche), it makes them look like their big sisters!

Place fur collar around your neck. Fold your Gavroche in the basic bias fold and pull it through the first loop of either end of your collar (two loop method)

You can either wear it as it is, showing the maximum of the design or take it as a starting point for a variety of knots!

This method holds your scarf securely in place, makes it very easy to take the collar off and put it back on, and prevens the scarf from sliding or slipping.

Fold your scarf in the basic bias fold,

and thread it through all five loops of your fur collar.

Place your collar around your neck. Wear it with the long open ends showing..

The two loop method adds unbelievable mileage to small sized scarves. It makes a pocket square (Gavroche) look like one of it's big sisters, a Twilly seeming to be a mile long and a 70 Vintage Scarf appearing like a full size 90 Carré...

Place the fur collar around your neck. Fold your scarf in the basic bias fold and pull through the first loop of both ends of your collar

.. and bring the ends of the collar together.

Wearing your scarf this way really allows the design to stand out..
